We visited three of the most important Alfa Romeo collections in Europe, drove a car the Milan-born brand created with this specific market in mind and went to meet some once-rebellious collectors at a lavish lakeside event.

Ticino-based Axel Marx started his after falling in love with a Giulietta SS as a child. Now he preserves row upon row of concours condition Alfas, so they can tell their stories to another generation.

The wild gang of FuoriConcorso unites complete strangers, spellbound by their passion for cars they cherish and pamper, while the die-hard racers of Scuderia Portello take their collection everywhere you can turn a wheel in anger.
