The Summer Edition 2023

A game changing season when Alfa stole the show on the world stage

As we look back to the summer of 2023, we realise that another spectacular season is now behind us. It was very much a before-and-after story, one that witnessed Alfa Romeo take a much more assertive position on the world stage, after a few years of reorganising. Heritage plays a big part in its reinvention, todays designers relying on the depth of the back catalogue of classics to provide them with the inspirationfor their current work, but also to encourage them to be bold and groundbreaking, adopting the same attitude that served their predecessor all too well.

The last supercar that Alfa produced was the original 33 Stradale, launched in 1967, the year when the world heard The Rolling Stones sing Ruby Tuesday for the first time and a Boeing 737 took its maiden flight. Today, we have another ruby jet to feast our eyes upon, the simply superb brand new incarnation of the legendary 33 Stradale.

While we did not get to drive it yet, we got to experience one of Alfasmost delightful race cars, the Millenove Super Sport, a one-ofa-kind Franco Scaglione designed barchetta, a car that rewarded us so generously over the 5 days of this years Mille Miglia.

Alfas soul is clearly in the right place and the product floodgates are now wide open, with a string of new models on their way.
