The adrenaline rise and it was finally the time to reach the pit lane and lined up on the starting grid.At 4.40 pm on Saturday afternoon the red lights switched off and the 60 minutes of the race started. But it was immediately a Safety Car regime. Slama's car was stopped on the track, taking away all hopes from the Austrian. Shortly afterwards it was unfortunately the moment of Bensi who, due to a sudden brake pump block, was also forced to stop. And once safety standards returned to normal the Safety Car left space for a new re-start. In the whole, it was a chaotic and undoubtedly fought race. After twenty minutes, the cars return to the pits for the drivers change. Four penalties were assigned to the drivers for excessive speeding in the pit lane. Bergamaschi-Caprotti, Silvestrini, Guerra and Körber were forced to pay a Drive Through. However, the penalties were doubled for the last two drivers that again carried out the same mistake. Only about ten minutes to the end of the race when the GTA 1300 Junior of Ondrak lost the oil sump plug anddissipated the lubricant on the ground. The Safety Car entered the track again, which in the meantime was becoming increasingly slippery and dangerous. The Race Direction decided for the red flag stopping the race in before the due time. The undisputed protagonist of the fifty minutes of the show was Arnaldi, despite a race always in the head, which let himself go into celebrations judged excessively dangerous from the Race Director and imposedan immediate exclusion from the ranking.
